I've recently begun going to this church though they call it Shabbat, It is a Christian group that celebrates all the Jewish holidays then shows how it either foreshadowed Jesus or was getting the people ready for new life in Christ.  You can listen to sermons and Torah club on line.  I have found the sermons to be the best meat that I've heard in decades.  The music is very worshipful, no drums, and you can understand every word.  The congregation is multiaged and multiracial.  Anyway, if you'd like to hear some excellent sermons, I highly recommend them.

Thank you Carla.  Where did you find them--are you in Seattle?

Acts 17:2 Then Paul, as his custom was, went to them, and for three Sabbaths reasoned with the from the scriptures

Acts 17:16 While Paul was waiting for them in Athens, he was greatly distressed to see that the city was full of idols. 17 So he reasoned in the synagogue with the Jews and the God-fearing Greeks, as well as in the marketplace day by day with those who happened to be there.

They meet at Church for All Nations in Tacoma (the address might be in Parkland) at 10:00 AM and Torah club meets at 7PM on Monday nights also at CFAN. I have really loved the worship and the way the people love the word of God.

Carlova, Candy, Joel J., EagleWing, et al.

Harvest is over out here in fly-over country.  It is time to see what you all have been doing while we have been growing your daily bread.

Carlova, I am glad to see that you have gained an interest in Jesus' Jewish roots.  The loss of that interest from the time of the Apostles and Jesus' time here on earth is what has messed up the church.  Jesus said this would happen after He left and wolves in sheep's clothing crept in.  You have studied this I know.  It is interesting to look closely at how Greek Gnosticism was able to infiltrate what Jesus left us with and what he wants us to get back to.  You cannot find this in the modern church world today.  They don't admit it!  You have to look deeper.

Here are some good books to read on the topic.

The Doctrine of the Trinity; Christianity's Self Inflicted Wound
by Anthony F. Buzzard and Charles F. Hunting

     When Jesus Became God
          by Richard E. Rubenstein

And a quite recent one that is excellent on this topic:

They never told me THIS in church!
          by Greg S. Deuble

Carlova, you know you have a Berean's heart.  These books will help you seek Yahweh with that heart.

God Bless you all!!!
