Take opportunities to share Jesus with folks

We had a good day at the Renton Transit Station, there were many to talk to.

I talked with some pentecostal kids about the BHS. Their were two boys about 18, we talked about basketball and then I turned it to talk about the BHS. Usually if one kid is not form a Pentecostal church I might just talk at the one but they both were. I shared testimony and principles of being filled..I usually encourage them to get with someone from their church or answer an alter call as opposed to praying for them right there. I did the same with two gals, I share not to be afraid but to seek. One gal said she afraid of it..but it sound like some gals in her church were being drama queens and it was taking them over. I shared that there is much phoniness but we need to cut through it, the devil hates church and fights his hardest there. I shared the BHS with two other gals one had just been saved a couple years back and the other was a preachers kid and talked about "the one called along side" ..."the paraclaytos" spelling??  The kids listen intently. I shared the BHS with two other guys 18ish and one started sharing and I just listened for awhile and I said he was a preacher..I like to encourage kids to believe in themselves. I also talked to two other young men about the BHS one was going to chief school..they are floating to the surface as I am typing. Many Pentecostal kids today generally one in 5 to 10 are BHS.

One gal I talked to said she was not saved...but knew she needed to be. I always ask them when they think they will get saved...she answered "This Sunday" and she seemed totally sincere ..I said good and moved to the next person.

I talked to the security guard about the weather, he is saved and was in Iraq..in a few minutes I said "Breaks over" and went back to witnessing. I also thanked three King County Cops that showed up, sharing things are much better than last year.

I talked to a kid in his forties about salvation..he was Indian and into all the spiritual drum beating cultural stuff. We had a great talk, I shared my point of view  and testimony and he listened...I said he must be being prayed for...he was a nice kid from Fife. I shared about my friend who was a big wig in the Indian movement in Seattle who used to be saved. We shook hands in leaving like old friends.

One cute gal who was a conservative looking Filipino gal said she was not a Christian. I shared my testimony and how God wanted a relationship with everyone and we are all special to Him like our children are to us. I bring the law and repentance but also bring how much He desires us and how much He and us are missing out on having each other when we turn our back on Him and how rude that is to turn our back on a God that has done nothing wrong.

That seemed to be a theme today..how rude it is to turn your back on such an amazing and big God. One kid 16 year old I was talking to realized this when after I had got him to admit he had lied, stolen and blasphemed I talked about it. I said how would your dad feel if you told him you were running away, you did not want him anymore in your life..how much more a God that has not even done one thing wrong to you. Being younger he got it and you could see conviction in his face..his two friends said nothing..one was a Buddist and one was a Christian.

The first two kids I talked to today were about 12. I shared a little and handed them some tracts..they are more nervous than older kids that an adult is talking to them yet are way more open, but you can not stay too long talking with them.

Many kids know us and will say hi, they are saved and going about their day..I usually mention something about the weather or ask them where they are in school or work.

I am taking longer with those who are open to listen and not feeling like I am over talking as long as they are intently listening. this takes up more of the three hours we are out on the street and unless we are missing other people it is where I should be.

It was a great day thanks for the prayers. I always feel in awe after I have been out witnessing. God is so good it us.

Acts 17:2 Then Paul, as his custom was, went to them, and for three Sabbaths reasoned with the from the scriptures

Acts 17:16 While Paul was waiting for them in Athens, he was greatly distressed to see that the city was full of idols. 17 So he reasoned in the synagogue with the Jews and the God-fearing Greeks, as well as in the marketplace day by day with those who happened to be there.
